I'm sorry, but to say that Silvio Berlusconi "was famous for his bunga bunga parties" is surely, and quite literally, an insult to the intelligence of most Quiz League contestants.
Silvio Berlusconi is famous for being Italy's longest–serving post–war prime minister (in three separate terms), for founding his country's largest media empire in 1987, for being one of the world's richest and most powerful men (199th in 2017 and 12th in 2009, respectively), for owning AC Milan from 1986 to 2017, and for being convicted of tax fraud in 2013 – among other things.
He was convicted in 2013, but acquitted in 2014 on appeal, of paying 17–year–old Moroccan belly dancer Karima El Mahroug, (a.k.a. Ruby Rubacuori – Italian for 'Ruby the Heartstealer') for sexual services in 2010. She told prosecutors that Berlusconi would hold parties where he and as many as 20 women would perform an African–style ritual known as "bunga bunga", in the nude.
